This members-only 10K honors nine-time NYC Marathon champion Grete Waitz, taking you through Central Park on the same roads where she set world records at the New York Mini 10K in 1979 and 1980. The race starts at 7:30 AM with around 8,000 runners, and it's part of NYRR's Member Week celebration—a scored race that counts toward your 9+1 qualification. There's race-day bib pickup starting at 6:00 AM near the Naumburg Bandshell, bag check available (clear bags only), and water and Gatorade on course plus post-race snacks.

Bibs can be picked up at the NYRR RUNCENTER on various dates leading up to the race, or on race day at Race-Day Central. Runners are encouraged to pick up their bibs at the RUNCENTER to avoid race day lines.
